Launched in 2019 as a micro-trade, Les Horées has since acquired several small plots for a total of 1.3 hectares, while continuing to purchase grapes for complementary vintages. 
This is the case of this Gevrey-Chambertin, whose Pinot Noir around fifty years old are located in the south of the appellation. 
The berries, harvested by hand, are vinified partly as a whole harvest (25%), then fermented using native yeasts in open vats. 
Catharina Saade does some punching down on the feet to infuse the grapes, and does without sulfur as much as possible. 
Aging continues for twelve months in old oak barrels. 
The result is a deep, concentrated wine, with an intense nose of blackcurrant, plum, orange zest enhanced with a touch of pepper and a nuance of undergrowth. Structured by velvety tannins, this fleshy Gevrey shows great purity of fruit. A superb wine, which will benefit from evolving in the cellar for a few years.
